Sweet, little Felt Rose Pencil Toppers are a quick and easy craft. They're perfect for a Valentine’s gift exchange or any classroom celebration.
Place the glass on top of the felt and trace out a circle.
Using the scissors, cut out the circle. Then starting at one edge begin to cut a spiral shape out of the circle.
With the wire cutters, cut a pipe cleaner in half. Using one of the halves, place the pipe cleaner end onto the smallest edge of the felt. Add a drop of hot glue to hold the pipe cleaner in place.
Next start to roll the small edge with the pipe cleaner, adding a little hot glue as you go along to keep the flower together. When you reach the end, you may have to cut the felt a bit to go around the pipe cleaner.
Make sure to glue the flap onto the back of the rose and cover the base.
Once all the glue has dried, wrap the pipe cleaner stem of the felt rose around a pencil.
Note: For a sweet touch, hot glue a bead in the center of the rose.
