Rice Krispie Treat Monster Blobs

Rice Krispie Treat Monster Blobs
I’ve got my eyes on you – spooky little Rice Krispie Treat Monster Blobs.

I love Halloween and making these Rice Krispie Treat Monster Blobs, may be the easiest treat ever. No baking and very little goes into this to make them successful.

I have to say, sometimes when you make a recipe – it ends up being a complete disaster. The saddest part is knowing as you’re doing it, that you’re heading towards a complete Pinterest fail.

This is not that kind of recipe.

In fact, the worse it looks, the better it turns out! Shocking, I know.

Whipping up a batch of Halloween goodness.

When making these make sure to add the food coloring to the marshmallow mix and then add in the cereal. Stir everything really well to get the green coloring evenly throughout the monsters.

I also coated my hands with oil to work the mixture into a blob-like shape and then made sure to have some wax or parchment paper or a plate close by to set them on.

This is also one of those kid-proof treats that they have a lot of fun making and also a lot of fun eating. While making these my kids were giggling and laughing the whole time and also sneaking bites of their monsters before we could photograph them.

To include the kids, I set out little individual pieces of wax paper and then set out a blob onto each one. The kids were able to sprinkle the colored sugar and add the eyes by themselves.

It was almost too easy.

Since there’s no waiting, the kids chowed down almost immediately and then washed every last crumb down with a glass of milk.
